little Mary Sue
you sure know just what to do
when the sun goes down
and boys come out to play
get up on the stage
and put them in a rage
and do it for us
every single day
in a pitchblack darkened nightclub
a spotlight flashes on
a face up on a platform down the hall
then she begins to sing
and the band begins to ring
heavy metal going wild cowbell and all
little Mary Sue
she's the real stuff through and through
and nobody comes close
to what she was
tear the place apart
and breaking every heart
you can't put in a bottle
what she does
some say rock and roll
is buried in the soul
and only late at night
you let it go
it aint something bad
when it's the only thing you have
so come on baby
give us all a show
little Mary Sue
you sure know just what to do
when the sun goes down
and boys come out to play
get up on the stage
and put them in a rage
and do it for us
every single day
