have you ever been dreaming
dreaming so deep so deep
you didn't know that
you were asleep
have you been in love
a love so deep so deep
you didn't know that
it wasn't real
have you ever been walking
down your street but you didn't know where?
have you ever been talking
but then there was nobody there?
this dream
this dream called reality
I am you and you are me
and we are no one and everything
dreaming
you're only dreaming
you're only seeming
of what if it was
dreaming
you're only dreaming
only believing
you are in love
have you ever been sleeping
and thought that you were awake?
have you ever been awake
and thought there must be some mistake
have you ever been lonely
and found you were not alone?
have you been only
a stone of a stone of a stone?
this dream
this dream called reality
what was what
and what's meant to be
this dream
this dream called reality
locked in your soul
and then you are free
dreaming
you're only dreaming
you're only seeming
of what if it was
dreaming
you're only dreaming
only believing
you are in love
have you ever loved the night
and found it was brightest day?
have you ever been silent
and found it was all you had to say?
this dream
this dream called reality
I am you and you are me
and we are no one and everything
dreaming
I'm only dreaming
I'm only seeming
of what if it was
dreaming
I'm only dreaming
only believing
I am in love

Reviews of "DREAMING song lyrics by Joel Sattler - fourth version"
Life is but a dream. I think you covered all the nuances of dreaming in this lyric. For some reason while I was reading an old pop hit from the fifties was running through my mind as I read: "When I met you, and all your charms… When I met you, and held you in my arms… Whenever I want you, all I have to do is dream, dream dream. All I have to do is dream." Something like that… the Everly Brothers?
I felt more like this when I was single. In my teenage years I was a huge day dreamer. I would dream of everything from driving fancy cars to exploring outer space. In time, many dreams became reality. I had my share of luxury and sport cars and beautiful women. Flying a plane is next and who knows if space is on the horizon. Dreaming is healthy, dream on!
