The sirens are calling
I’m lying in bed
the sirens are falling
no bottom as yet
the sirens are wailing
somewhere in the night
my vision is failing
It’s all turning white
The stars are exploding
Inside of my head
The hearse is unloading
The gift of the dead
Do you hear the sirens?
do you hear the sea?
lashed to the main mast
do you want to be free?
Are you like Ulysses
On the voyage of the damned
Or are you a traveler
Just like any man?
the sirens are screaming
the sirens are hell
tell yourself you are dreaming
they ring like a bell
