largely written in the dark, thursday night

a slice of something

~enjoy~

When Frowtonbrass to Claycomode came
then FitzFitz the Laird did westward flee
and lovers starkly revealed by starlight
perforce the great gray kimono donned.

The clan did scatter at the word
of the stable lad, who with milk maids
thirteen score made the beast with
no back getting chafed in the process

Young Lochinvar was late and
came not at all while the
Bold Reaver stole the heart of
Pyro, the Ice Maiden. Alas

came he empty away, lost
in a pettifogging blizzard of
pettifogging pettifoggery
neatly tied with red tap.

“Anastasis, Anastasis”
the peasants cried and Anna,
dear sweet Anna, rose up and
put them down with sword and

rope and hellfire. For Ana
was a Stasis much given to
the Status Quo and not, not
the notion suffrage universal.

Governance craved the Stable Lad
an army raised., Prevailing
in the field; governance was
won but not maintained:

Stasis returning the starlight
lovers shed the grey kimono
While pettifoggers pettifogged
Until Coldbrass to Claycomode came...
