Her Embrace

Step between the cedars
Breathe in the scent of moss
Call out the name She stands for
And wait….
Soon your path She’ll cross

She’ll seep inside your roots
Rain down upon your leaves
Glisten the ground you step upon
And nourish your souls’….
Weary pleas

And as the sun watches over Her
With an unspeakable desire
He cradles the cause She’s given Him
Knowing soon is His time….
To retire

The time is such that She must rise
And He… graciously sets
Her lunar light bathes all the Earth
In silent pride….
No regrets

As you walk amongst the trees
Listen for her grace
Look to sky for His great warmth
And night for…..
