If in some life before now We craved the other’s love Like freedom in the captive’s mind I suppose we were kept at bay… Perhaps we or the cosmos knew The pain that would ensue A binding such as ours. So it would be saved For the time when the lessons Could be best learned. I imagine that is intense desire Undeniable forces avoided for the cost And indulged finally in the right lifetime I imagine any soul who could wait Any love that could endure Could not be pulled apart now Could not be divided Such a state is a fusion of conscious thought When body becomes translucent And the mind, spirit and heart are what Drives desire. Is this you and me? Possibly. If in some life before now We craved the other’s love Like freedom in the captive’s mind I suppose we were kept at bay… But now? Life still keeps us at bay Despite our years together And lessons learned I imagine this is yearning Of a most painful type I imagine this is the heart’s labyrinth When body becomes translucent And the mind, spirit and heart are what Drives desire. Hmmmm Steve this is such a image filled write of thoughts with much to wonder and ponder upon, <sigh> we can never wonder and ponder to much you know! ;O) It is also very well crafted too...I like...yes I do!! :O)
