Words unborn yet My creation is dead Buried in the critic's world To rise in words That kills words unborn yet In the maize of The unknown uncertain poet Or creative artist Look for the words I search through my mind; I drive my self "crazy " With nothing to find I guess I am here All that is left to know... The future will come And the future will go True spoken words Then graffiti shall increase Their authors free Shall write with ease With no spelling errors "Pissed off " Shall become "Peace"
I don't write for some critic to judge what I need to say, I write about how I feel, my thoughts sometimes confused, my heart sometimes broken, but still I write...for myself. You always pen your works from the heart, Tinka, and they touch so many...what right does anyone have, to discount what they may not even understand? A wonderful poem.
Don't let them stress you, it is for "them" to find the "peace" within themselves, which unfortunately they are not able to do since they only have the time to find faults with others. Your poetic ability is superb Tinka. I would like to see some write as beautifully as you do, given that the language you pen these in, is not your home language. Take heart Poetess, know that you are both loved and admired.
A very touching, honest and great write.
warm hugs and love

Beautiful written words of disappointment felt. But I say they no not what they think they know. Look at Alan Jackson for example. One said no no and the world said Yes Yes. You are here and a beautiful Poetress. Awesome and talented and so admired and loved. That's all you need to remember and know. I really like the ending. Peace!

Tinka this is a truly wonderful write and I know I for one can emphaize with you on these feelings. Artists and writers are prone to thinking this way...it is our nature, our muse and sometimes even our downfall but your poem helps to understand it just a little better. Thank you,
Boy, you hit the nail right on its proverbial head. I've been feeling a lot like this--thank you for getting into my head and expressing it so brilliantly! BRAVA!

We all suffer the same way as do you, Tinka. Our words we hope will please, entertain and astound, when we receive words that belie that fact we hunker down within our shells. But the thing is, we can't stay hunkered down, we must write, and so we do.
Your tremendous poetic literary achievements will never be dead, only those who criticize the works of others. A highly engaging, emotive, and superb literary write my friend ... very beautiful!!
