Little Chapel

To heavens above

Loaded with bright stars

I raise my eyes in prayer

And the black surrounding me

A reflection of my emotions…my life

That started with my very first breath

Years ago on this very day

I became so sick

I almost died

Well forget the rest… I guess

As you all know I made it

But why?

How strange this feels to ask… anyway

Never really the time and place to wonder

Why God allowed me to wander this path

To enter this little Chapel today

Maybe one day

My ghost will walk with you

My love so bittersweet

Will still embrace you

Call this a great truth or lie

But today

I cannot deny the fact

I was saved for a reason

Out of the little Chapel I ran

Knowing one thing for sure

I am blessed to know you

Tinka,

Dear friend, I have been blessed by your words and especially your never ending encouragement and support on my works; I cannot begin to repay the kindness you've shown gracefully through the last three or so years.

May you continue to live, write, and be happy. You deserve nothing but the best.

((((HUGS)))) and love, Karla. :)

Ah, yes, Tinka, we all have our stories of a personal nature such as this. You told your well and it just bears out the truth that salvation is definitly in the eyes of the beholder. That is the only way it should be. Very good.
