Maybe I shall take Another sleeping pill or two Or maybe just maybe one to many Just to kill this hurt Was I wrong…or is this right As I jumped out of bed to write Half asleep but still in need I feel that I am half dead As I sit here and just stare At your face in front of me Looking back at me… but does not see I had this wonderful dream That turned into a nightmare scream And I just lay in bed and weep Because my long for you is so deep I will give up everything For you to be not just a dream As my thoughts rush through my mind That keeps me awake night after night Just to think about all the bad things… That happened to me through the years As “You” became the one good thing That keeps me awake at night Now look at me…look and see See me for who I am Not an alien Not a demon Just me!!
Tinka- YOu touched my Soul with this and the music you chose to go with it! Your such a creative African princess- Tinka dear- I love the ocean pict. too- I'm glad dark times move you so freely and your alive- WARmly and Sweetly,Sheee
May the magic of this exquisite photo fill your heart with beauty, love and peace. And may you find the strength to move on, dear poetess! Masterfully penned, heartbreaking piece.

So much pain in your words, but PLEASE don't think of killing yourself. Suicide is not the answer. I don't know what the answer is, but how will you find out what it is if you're not here? Think about that; a whole lot of people here live to read your words; don't deny them that privilege.
(((HUGS))) and love, and many prayers, Karla.

Those darn dreams, they just will not leave us alone. What makes it worse, Tinka, is they really do have a nasty tendency to turn into nightmares. Sleeping pill. Only choice.
Beautiful poem...filled with so much emotion. And the pic is beautiful too. You are definitely not an alien or a demon. Just a really fine poet. ~ Sara
ANOTHER SLEEPLESS NIGHT simmers with the heat of honest emotion, longing, and love with all its defenses down. The rawness here is equally powerful and beautiful.
Tinka! Oh MY! So very sad but such a very nice read. I too have had those kind of dreams waking up crying over losses. I pray that happiness comes you way soon and your tears are dried away forever and a big smile takes the place. God Bless you Dear sweet Tinka!
A very emotive and heartfelt poem . . . nobody does it better!!
Hugs and love,
