Why do I hurt so much for you today...
Some days, I just cannot find
peace from my thoughts of you,
and others - I hurt so abstrusely,
such sorrow shines through.

Why do I hurt so much for you today...
Every move I make, each step
that I take moves me so much
further away from where you are;
I've lost that star, I've lost your friendship.
I once looked upon you with such
warmth and so much Love in this heart.
I still do.

Why do I hurt so much for you today...
Are you thinking about me?
Do you ever see the angels that I
ask God to send
to envelop and to comfort you,
to soothe and protect you
from the darkness that surrounds you?

Why do I hurt so much for you today...
Is there something to say, more to
this dream - in the mists it would seem
that all is for naught; but what have you got?
Where did you go when you took
your heart away from me?
Can you see, forgive - I made a mistake;
and I know it will never be perfect,
who would wish for such?
But my heart still aches, with every
step I take, that takes me
further away from you.

A Love based in Truth is something
that you just might find one day...
A Love based in Truth, remember that you
let it go this way...without reflection,
without care - you don't want to feel;
and you can't be real,
even within the hope of your own heart.
You are still remembered in
in my prayers - but I still don't understand...

...Why do I hurt so much for you today...

Let Your Goddess Grow! by Charlene Proctor

Intuitively, I know I've lived many lifetimes, and none more interesting than the one I'm living now. However, being born an old soul somehow did not excuse me from the same job I share with you and that is learning to craft a positive attitude about
