My beautiful daughter... What is it that I have done or am doing that is making you so angry and rude with me? With him, his caring and concern is met with love and consideration... My caring and concern seems lately to be met with your anger and impatience. Have you any idea how this hurts me? Have you any idea how this hurts you?
In the last two weeks or so, I have been taking the brunt of your nasty moods - I think you need to ask yourself if you are truly being honest with yourself and your feelings. It is very uncharacteristic for a pregnant woman to carry so much anger and intolerance. When she is truly happy with her decision, this happiness and sense of delighted peace generally permeates all of her relationships, and she relaxes into the bright and warm feelings of this peace and the glow of her inner happiness.
He was more compassionate with my concern than you; You, again, met it with anger... So, please - be as considerate and caring of what you say and do to me as you are with your growing child’s father - I will be that "other" special person in your baby’s life and will always be there to support you both when life gets rough. I am this child’s grandmother.
I understand this fear - I have felt it. After everything I have watched you struggle with in your life - do you not think I feel fear for you? I understand more completely than you the dangers and the cruelties of this world, for I have lived them...I have fought them - and like you, I have risen above them. So, the next time you feel anger at me for caring... The next time you snap at me - Please think before you act. Remember...I feel that same fear for you that you feel for yourself and your unborn child. I have never intruded on your life and, my dear daughter, I do not intend to begin now.
Things will be fine, with time. Sometimes though, the answer is to step back, let her come to you. And she will. Maybe not on your time schedule, but she will come to you.
She's dealing with many different things, and all while the hormones are raging through her body and when people don't know how to deal with the 'unknowing feelings' they tend to react to reaction.
Don't take it personally...and I know that's not easy to do, but in time the Daughter you've always known and loved will reappear.
you've expressed your feelings quite effectively and with style ...

I have felt the same sentiments with my own daughter and then I realize that it is the raging hormones and will not last. Our nerves get frayed in the meantime but then there is the reward. Really excellant
