It doesn’t matter what you do in life,
nor does it matter where you go,
there will always and forever be
the hand of friendship here for you
should you ever decide you
wish to dream...things are rarely
what they seem or appear to be.
Being free becomes easier each
day you practice, the wings become
stronger each time you venture
out to fly - and in your sky you will
see so many things you have
not ever seen nor experienced before.
Perhaps there will come a time
as you travel down the years,
that you will once again venture
to open your door.
You may learn again to allow the
beautiful breezes of soul to whisper
through your heart; you may learn
once again to impart peace to those
you meet; try as you may...it is not
this day you need concern yourself with,
but only this moment, for a moment is
all that any one of us ever truly has.
You will never know the beauty
these eyes see in you;
You will never feel the touch
that holds you dear;
I fear you will not ever know
the warmth, the love, the glow that
you have brought to this heart
over the years - the heaven I have
come to know...
Now I sit, so bittersweet,
inside these tears.
