Splitter splatter geese a gaggle...walking in the rain
Tail to sashayed feathered tails...lined up like a train
Bouncing downy white and waddling...clicking and a clacking
Freight-trained goosies splashing -- laughing...mud prints just a tracking
Honking orders in the storm marching to the lake
Clearing those that venture...charging...oh for 'gooseness' sakes
Feeding time out in the lake just ahead of thunder
Loud and boisterous gaggles echo, is there any wonder?
Brave and challenging...poking fun...daring each raindrop
Up-turned long necks drink their fill...sipping as rain hops
Storms are tilt-a-whirls to geese...amusements for their laughter
Funny orange-beaked silly goosies...happy ever after.

It's the goosies that I love best...not cooked of course. I always loved ducks and geese. And children are fascinated by them. Bet this can make it in any classroom. Victor
just about everyday i travel to the beach there are numerous flocks of "silly goosies" who are quite a sight to behold making their way through the grass, across the shore and through the air ... delightful poem!
