Childhood memories that are missed.

The smell of fresh coffee fills the air.

The sound of bacon sizzling in the pan.

The popping and cracking of eggs.

The heat of the biscuit ladden oven.

The sweet voice of a mother singing.

A radio softly playing.

Small children laughing everywhere.

The sight of my sweet mother in the kitchen.

These are the things that I remember.

These are the things that I miss.

How could it happen.

Everything Childhood and Adulthood coming together as one.

Oh how I wish it could be the same again.

Little River by Dadfire

Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
