                                      ~Angel Wings~

 
                   Taken softly under strong angel wings
                    Protecting fragile skin from the wind
                    Covering up all of the fresh  wounds
                    Healing the mind and spirit with love
                    Comforted by the faith in God above

A strong somewhat symmetrical expression of an intensely asymmetrical relationship, in that we who have done nothing to merit God's love have it lavished upon us. I like the tremendous comfort, the enduring sense of solace amid suffering that your poem conveys here. Wonderful piece.
