I am there myself. I don't like it. I fight it. Of course I will lose . . .

I can relate very much to these sorts of feelings. "Flip me a knife so I can abuse myself." This is a great line. It's like the line out of the Nine Inch Nails song, where he sings: "I hurt myself today, to prove that I still feel." So we're caught at times in this horrible no-man's land between life and death. And it is without doubt painful territory. Can I just live or die; but don't leave me here. In order for me to be emotinally buoyant, I must first learn to emotionally let go. That's what I've found.
