The weather has turned it up a notch
43 degrees at four o'clock in the morning
It is even warm for Phoenix
That's right the city built on a cactus ball field
Just kidding of course, it was build and they did come
Droves and droves of people
Mostly people from the Chicago stock yards
It gets me to wonder why did you come out west
Your people by natural right own this land
Oh I do not care about what you called the long knives
They came they conquered, just like the old days
They were the Romans in those days
It was all west they traveled and conquered
The further west they went the less land they had to dominate
The great Atlantic started nipping at their sandeled feet
They did not want to live with the fish in the ocean
So they went on a fact finding mission to steal India
After all the Indians had riches, silks, jewelry, and precious stones
One guy got the bright idea claiming the world was round
His goal was to find a short cut to the Indians and steal there belongings
Instead he found groups of nomads living in a wilderness
He thought they were from India, hence the name Indians
The former Romans came in clusters of hundreds to the Indian world
Which leasds me to a question, if the Romans did not come and conquer
Would I have gotten to know YOU????
