The cold crisp air outside my home was surprising

My home is locked on 75 degrees

So for me to go outside shirtless was absurd
But Giuseppe wanted to go out to relieve himself

As I stood outside waiting on my pet I looked up to the stars

Venus was as usual shinning brightly

Mars was more vague as though it did not want my eyes upon it

A police helicopter circled above looking for perpetrators

It was then that I first saw it

The big snake the color of sand crawling at a rapid pace

And it was headed for my opened door

I worried for Giuseppe as he is very curious

As for me I realized this serpent was the evil that has been stalking me

Then the evil disappeared as a homeless man asleep in an alley woke up

He had no weapons just his presence

I stood there astonished at what I had just seen

In a blink of an eye the man was gone

So was the snake making a weird noise disappeared too

I searched the area freezing but determined to find this man

He was gone disappearing into the cold night air

Who was this mysterious stranger

Only the Lord knows, where his angels are

And only the Lord knows his name
