The weather outside grew dark and windy
My little home had an ambiance fit for royalty
It was here I would relax in my shelter
Sharp bangs of thunder were clapping outside
As I looked out of my window I seen a lone figure standing under a tree
It was a girl who had bruises on her face
She was no more than forty five feet from me
I had no secret agenda but I left my house and approached her
She seemed very young as walked closer to her
Hi I said would you like to come into my home to keep out of the storm
She was stoic but followed me into my home
I introduced myself and she replied rather shyly Mary
That is all she said as I offered her some espresso
She took the dark coffee and gulped it down
Finally she began talking, thank you sir she said
I was told by my friend to stop here with you if I needed aid
She mentioned the tall slim man who had visited me months before
His name as she knew him was Immanuel
Of course I knew she was referring to Jesus Christ
I asked her would she like for me to aid her facial wounds
She replied no, the wounds would dissipate
She also replied her wounds were caused by rock throwing mistaken people
Mary said more need would be necessary for others
I listened intently as she spoke
I must leave now she said, I have more to do for the Master
She touched my hand as she left my home
The storm had subsided completely
As I sat and pondered to myself
Will I live much longer to help the unfortunate

gently in this story of spiritual encounter
and you understand quite rightly there's no need
for 'heavy' preaching, the meeting in its detail
speaks for itself.
Strong and uplifting.
