My ship may have already sailed,
but I’m still the captain.
I settle the argument
whenever stuff happens….
I cast off my own lines
and I control the rudder.
I’m the man in charge,
there can be no other….
I make my own way
and I pay the fare.
I punch my own ticket,
when I go anywhere….
I know how to fish
and I know where to look.
No matter what I’m fishing for,
I bait my own hook,,,,
I row my own boat
and when I get to shore,
I make my own way to town
when I’m looking for more….
I do my own dirty laundry
and cook my own food.
I do my own dishes,
whenever it suits my mood.
I sweep my own floors
and I mow my own grass.
I shower alone
Unless, I meet a friendly lass
The image I see
in my looking glass,
is a guy with integrity,
but a bit lower class.
For me, there’s no woman
who could stand the test.
Cause, with high tolerance levels,
I’ve just never been blessed.
