Fishing for kind,
is like being on a boat blind,
only dead fish coming to twine.
In this sea of bitter souls,
hope there's better in the dead sea scrolls.
Uncovered in their Holy name,
wouldn't surprise me if they were the same.

They beat and crucified Jesus,
he was only trying to lovingly please us.
War after war has pleagued,
now many lose their heads after they've begged.
Death and destruction are abound,
even as God's spirit moves around.

Out of all of lifes melee,
I'm just fishing for a kind day,
maybe some kind play,
or to hear someone kind say,
something nice,
leaving off the ice.
Not freezing me in a zone,
where I fish all alone.
