Mythology never made much sense too me. In this one story Zeus transformed himself to a swan to seduce. Of all things why a swan? To gain power, Zeus overthrew his father. In mythology the gods intermingled with humans on earth. In my saga Zeus got jealous of Penus, god of the hard shove, because he was getting too much attention from the beauty and love goddesses, Venus and Aphrodite. Zeus then zapped Penus because of this. When Penus got zapped he fell to earth. So goes my poem....

Poem Artwork

For what it's worth,
after Zeus zapped Penus,
he fell to earth.
He no longer could compete,
with the love goddesses sweet.
Penus' love mission had to abort,
becasuse Zeus sheared him too short.

But for earth he was still large,
Penus smiled because he knew with
mere mortals he could take charge.
Penus use to be a big chunk of meat,
the love goddesses loved complete.
He gave Zeus competition,
no longer will the love goddesses
give him any recognition.

Penus never gave earth any attention,
but now that he's landed
he gave it an honorable mention.
Earth was full of ladies of beauty,
loving them became Penus' duty.
But sooner or later during his use,
he will still run into his ruler Zeus.
After the love goddesses went on strike,
Zeus flew to earth with his love psych.

Penus contacted cupid,
to help him render the beauties stupid.
He supplied cupid with arrows special,
to aid in making this official.
Cupid didn't want to get involved,
because he had humanly evolved.
Penus offered him more power,
this turned Cupids morals sour.
So Cupid prepared his arrows,
for the earthly love sparrows.

On with the shoot!
