After a certain age
down here in this earthly cage
Father time will not slow down
As time passes on into the future

Before we know it we're another
year old and more fragile
the aches and pains trump the smile
Some might notice a change
in our style
It's that or we're facing a jury trial
Nerves and patience run short

The next trip might be off to jail sport

As time flies on into the future
a little more wisdom moves to nurture
The mind gets smarter

reminds us that it might not be good
