No mortal would dare board
The eagle high above soared
With a watchful eye
Daring any to defy
There was treasure a plenty
However no human ever possessed any
One brave soul tried
The eagle watched as he died
Now his skull is a home
Inside the spiders and other insects roam
Eyeballs gone
The rest of his bones just lie on the deck
Floating with the ship wreck
A protected treasure
Protected at it's owners pleasure
His spirit has wings
Just an eagle it seems
