Off into the sunset,
he rode with no regret.
His sword shining from afar,
the warrior knew he was a star.
From his sword a drip of blood fell,
a sign of his previous touch with hell.
His big stallion,
pranced like it was worth a billion.
The warrior halted his horse,
so as to check his course.
He knew the fight wasn't over,
but he needed a break to think things over.
As he took in a deep breath,
an enemy appeared in his path.
Again he drew his mighty sword,
knowing combat was the only word.
Eyes met,
in the blinding sunset.
Mighty horses roared,
as the two warriors soared,
right at each other,
and the ensuing struggle was like no other.
As the sparks of striking metal flew,
one warrior was destined to turn cold blue.
Finally as the fierce struggle ended,
one warrior descended.
As the air chilled,
the mighty warrior wasn't thrilled,
but he was glad that his blood wasn't spilled.
He and his mighty stallion rode on into the sunset,
with no regret,
and a feeling of relief,
that he had fought to uphold his holy belief.
