A kaleidoscope of colours
Form a rainbow in my mind
A pallette of creation
That the darkest soul will find
I recall the realm of darkness
The everlasting fall
A step into the sunlight
Would shatter it for all
Ocean felt like thick tar
No motion or no sound
An uphill step of struggle
No feet would touch the ground
Eyes that shined like shadows
In a glitterball despair
No hand to lead a tango
Or heart to ever care
Colours are so muddled
No sense of artistic form
Just a blizzard of perspective
Alas that is the norm
I close my eyes and fall now
An endless drop so deep
To return tomorrow
In a world, I cannot sleep
