Waiting outside
While raindrops fall like anticipation
Stalemated against the concrete
Yet still infecting those
who it comes in contact with.
With this illness
I draw assumptions of those
Who I will soon encounter,
“Right brain antagonist” I deem them
Who could ever see one as a friend
That distorts their truths with reality
Removing theirs to create new perceptions
Injecting alternative concepts into the psyche
“Makeshift literary re-engineers” even better
Allowing you to keep the same frame
But changing the tint of the spectacles
Altering one’s existence
By manipulating their field of vision
Now it’s up the steps, through the door.
Facing the jury of peers
Who all seem to hold a slip in one hand,
The other a gavel,
Verdict three inches from the sound block.
So now it’s my security on guard
Waiting for the locks to be picked
Mainframe hacked
As my statute is evaluated for reconstruction
Anticipating whose influence will reshape reality.
