The first group of Swedes who had migrated to Minnesota, America, had left a small town called Kisa. Now 150 years later the same town has received the first Somali immigrants whom I call the "First Settlers" The Mobile Museum has visited both Kisa and Minnesota and Kisa. In Minnesota the MM met with the fourth generation American Swedes and in Kisa the MM met with some of the Somali Settlers including the first man who arrived that town in 2006, Mr. Abdurahman Mohamed. At the Uttvandararnas Hus in Vaxjo, Sweden, the settlers came to see the history of the Swedish emigrants as shown in the picture.
