you just drift along going from your bed to work and back to bed eat a few meals in between chat with your friends pass your husband in the hall
all systems operational...until like a bat out of hell a new man hits you right between the eyes (figuratively, not literally) and you realize how hard you have been working at not living
you start to wonder
what a lovely dream he is
asking me to take a chance at being alive and not just living
your synapses, in a rapid fire of... pushing him away moving him in closer knocking him on his ass kissing him oh so sweetly ...torture both of you
with the last punch he just leans over kisses you on the back of your neck just at the base of your ganglia and your heart ties up in a knot he says,
"whatever you do…DON’T LOOK BACK!"
and you're standing at the edge of the waterfall realizing, life used to be so simple when it wasn't lived.
Great story and phantastic metaphor. Yes, marriage is mostly like al ake, or a gently flowing river. Waterfalls are rare. Research shows that a good steamy spicy affair can help enegize people and ultimately improve an existing (though slowly but comfortably dying) relationship. In case of doubt I would put myself with E. Piaf ( il vaut mieux avoir des remords que avoir des regrets). Life is too short for lost opportunities, and a good partnership will survive a crisis, otherwise what is it good for? Franz

There is a unknown way , that Salvation knows , leads to my Inner Sanctum .

But no power on Earth , can shatter our new Divine Bond .
I'll whisper your name , and you'll cherish the Way , and take it with your Right Hand ,
For you now know , Love will always be discovered within my Inner Sanctum .
