I love these lines....never thought of love as a disease; always considered it to be a gift. But I guess you are right.
Don't pray for time going by even faster. Once you have reached a certain age, it flies anyways. Rather treasure what you have and enjoy every minute. Not easy without him, but possible.

Sometimes the end just does not justify the means.
We spend all our energies trying to figure out what went wrong, by the time we get it all straight, we've not enough left to enjoy the rewards.

Sara, this is a very excellent well-written heartfelt write. Although the clock does continue to tick, yet, since life and love are so deeply intertwined; the emotional roller coaster we all go through has a unique way of making us much stronger individuals, enabling us to be better prepared to handle all of life’s sudden twists and turns.
