I relived our first kiss last night.
Remembered how you walked across the room,
turned the corner,
looked back one last time
to ensure no one was watching,
rested your hand on the table,
leaned over and in a super slow,
but precise motion,
you kissed me gently,
hesitated, kissed me again,
rubbed your nose against mine
and ended it with a giggle.
With the confidence of a thousand men
you walked back around the table.
I could feel the blood rush to my face
and said, “I think you’ve made me blush!”
With an embarrassed look upon your face
you replied, “You’re right” and then smiled
knowing you’ve just tasted true love.
