Freedom From Control

You the loyal subject to the throne
Have no free will of your own
He orders you around
He even slaps you down

Inside your head his domination
Equals true loves excitation
So you go on dutifully
Carrying out orders willfully

Then when you try to break free
He comes at you with a new decree
Take back the truth or you won’t belong to me
And you give in without even a plea

So now you ask me to be your friend
As if it’s my job to help your soul mend
Why? So I can help set you free
Is that really what you want to be?

A true stand has been taken. Damn it you are a woman with fighting words! I love that. Oppression is a bad thing....this is truly for all women.

Dear Sara,
Let me put the record straight...and fix this boat...!!
For the evils that my poetry has done
This could mean the end of me...and I don't care anymore what becomes of me!!
So I am sorry for hurting you
By writing poetry about special moments
And special dreams...but so did you!!
All I ever wanted..was to be a friend to both of you....and there will be freedom without control from any one...Thank You....Now WiLL YOU be willing to do THAT??
And forget this silly fight!!
