The return of those who help guide us through the dark nights...

Back to Night!

© Jaimey Perham 01/27/2010

Coasting through to the third Millennium Age,
Where the days have become full of zombies,
And the nights a little more still.
Hope and promise lost at sea,
Dreams and answers lost in space,
Mystery replaced by tears and sorrow upon the quiet land.
No more strangers,
No more visitors,
No more quickening.
The captain has left us,
The ship is adrift,
Our compass grounded.
What to do now say you,
Upon your golden chair,
Will you bring us back?
Back to the trip,
Back to the ride,
Back to night!
On the 5th day of the 1st month of the 3rd millennium,
Starting on the 5th day of the 2nd month of the 3rd millennium,
The truth in all its true glory will be revealed,
The creature of the night,
The master of the strange,
Will be back!
Back to the trip,
Back to the ride,
Back to Night!
