Distorted Realities

The puppet masters distort our realities transforming truth into fear

Shocking grandmother into a frenzy without any cares

Grandfather panics and drops dead of a heart attack

Parents are manic not sure if they should go right of left

Kids are drugged to death with all the medicine on the shelf

Pets are considered more loved than the street homeless

Our minds are stretched into paranoia and deeply tested

What is the answer I wish I knew, and I would tell you

What I do know the whole truth only lies with a few

So the best we can do is keep moving forward

One step at a time with hope someday of a clear peaceful mind
