The light is drunk with the darkness of the life,
and as the dead leaf blown, hither and 'thither
by the wind, it is lurching on the eonaeon of time,
where death stalks freely as the visage of the strife.
O my love! It’s time for us to ease, the secret of our
heart, and waft them to the haven of our trust.
Let us feel the embrace of freedom in our arms,
and bury the tears in the chasm of our smiles.
Arise, O the love of my life, resolve to burn the
candle of our love, and be one, with the Sun and
Moon in our eyes, under its shade, on the balmy
couchette, in the train of our life. If however, we
abstain from our union then we would incur sin.
Alas! We ought to grieve. Besides, they will joke
of our barrenness. And for us, held in a plethora,
barrenness is worse than the death. We will fall
into disgrace. Arise, O the love of my life,
resolve to make love. Overcome your shyness,
close your eyes, and then you will see, what has
never been seen before. I bet, my love, seeing,
which has not been seen before, by anyone else
than us, we will be elated with pride, and feeling,
which has not been felt before, through our grace,
we will be blessed. We will be blessed.
How then could there be one holier than us?
Not even the sacred, “Bagmati”, that flows in our heart.
Bagmati: River Bagmati flowing through
the heart of Kathmandu valley. It is
worshipped by millions of Hindus
in Nepal and India. In Hindu cosmos
water is a life giving substance,
and many devotees conduct daily
rituals and takes bath in the river
to purify the mind.
I felt a soothing grace while reading your poem - exquisite in style and so elequent in its execution. It is indeed a pleasure to read such words. Sincerely, Ron
This behest, or plea, or entreaty - so powerful, yet gentle - brings to mind a classic, which I loved in 1962, YES, 43 years ago, as a college Freshman. "To His Coy Mistress" by Andrew Marvell. I didn't remember, but he mentions the Ganges River. Below is the link, for anyone interested. Shuk'ria ! my friend. Tom
Breathtaking! Tender, loving and passionate with such a gentle essence. Beautiful expression and artwork. Thank you for sharing this timeless poetic treasure.
A very lovely and deep-felt poem that holds up classic heritage and draws it into the presence of our contemporary lives while widening its boundaries and expanding its meanings.
The painting, too, is very remarkable. It shows Mr. Shrestha as one of the great artists of our time.

Captivating in the manner that your loving intentions are revealed in these verses. Thank you for sharing this poetic wonder, my friend. Love and peace to you. Regis
I believe this is the most beautiful expression of love I have ever seen. The tenderness and sincerity is breathtaking and leaves me happy for both of you.
such a gentle coaxing is shown here
it has more of a joining feeling than of seduction........
so much is shown, and questions asked
are BOTH parties ready for intimacy? Seems love is already there, but the physical union is hovering as yet ........unexplored......
Sometimes its better to wait....even if love is there.......because when the time is right.........it needs to be felt by both parties....
There is tenderness in these words......and I think tenderness is the biggest seducer of them all.........
this is lovely.....

Very beautifully said, Bhuwan. The art is wonderful too.
This is so intensely personal and intimate, Bhuwan, and yet tenderly universal as well, speaking to our inmost privately-held hopes, fears and aspirations. Overcoming shyness and insecurity goes deep within each one of us, I am sure - despite our outward appearances to the contrary. It takes a love of the very truest sort to overcome this very last barrier to fall, but you express well the overwhelming joy and elation of the discovery of exuberance and security that comes in its place, making a person completely whole. Beautiful lines here that are so effortless and "familiar". The painting is a perfect compliment and I love its rather modern-day antiqued effect with the pixels. Is that how it is or how your computer has generated it here? Hope you are feeling well, strong and hopeful. LOL Kate xx

After losing her boyfriend in a accident, Alecia believe she's been seeing him. But that can't possibly be? When Brayden reveals himself, or his soul, he asks her of a favor. But when that favor leads to her revealing feelings for her dead boyfriends
