Many people assume the right to drive even when they're unable to obtain their driver's license legally--some are illegals, others ill and some are just too old to 'give it up'. All suffer!

geezers who gaze
those watching for dear
extra limbs . . . a cell phone
dreamers who daze
those lacking cheer
single guys who are prone
to use but one hand
their mind astray
wheel lovers sparking
topless girls, tan
turn traffic away
those who cannot park
who cannot read
traffic signs heed
steering cars as cattle
without the skill
kill us, you will
which would not be quite right
without a license to drive
seems like they have a license to drive us crazy ... seroiusly, this is a dire problem!

Timeless write, Sandy!!! I agree, and I also believe everyone should be retested each time we get our license renewed, or every four years, since it varies from state to state, Poet!!! Also, if someone drives without a valid license their automobile should be impounded and sold, and the money raised should be put into a general pool of funds to be used for ONLY HELPING THE VICTIMS caused by these dangerous drivers, who are recklessly causing these accidents!!!
