Some people believe ALL THINGS are pre-ordained, that we are simply puppets. What use would freewill be to a puppet?

Have you heard the notion
that we've no emotion--
are puppets dangling?
Where are our suspenders?
I haven't a rod,
go where I want, trod ...
so where are the strings?
Don't you feel in control?
Do you need 'Depends', 'go'?
A puppet wouldn't know!
I have no suspenders.
No one makes me speak
(though I often 'squeak')--
a human being.
If one hangs o'er a ledge,
if they drop o'er the edge
will they shatter jumping?
Will 'bungees' catch, save her?
If I'd strings, they're cut;
I speak from my gut
about ev'rything.
As to that odd notion
that folks are but puppets,
freewill comes without strings.
Excellent thought here about freewill.
We have it but so many will not use it and feel the need to stay on the strings. I say cut the strings use your freewill and live with the out come but also learn from it.

It is not that we don't have free will Sandra. It is tht the powerful, politically, monetarily, and thos with the power; can subverte our free will in many ways so we are deceived into thining we have free will. Hopefully we do in our personal lives and the lives of our family and especially our chilldren. May God bless you Sandra. Bill
