In the innocence of childhood many of us see, hear and feel with the purity of a saint. This is about such a child who loves Jesus with all her heart.

Jesus loves me! I know, show it.
He lives, dwells, in my spirit.
Most of the time I hear Him
whispering comfortingly.
He said, "Sin leads us astray."
Found some in my pocket today.
Please, take it away!
Jesus, I tried o hid it well.
Maybe, on me, it cast a spell.
Not much but, I can't let sin SWELL;
it would leave its mark on me!
I wrapped it up, attached a bow
to get it to leave (as You know).
You said You'd take it. Here You go!
Jesus loves me. I'm so happy!
Each day of LIFE is a holiday!
At all times Jesus is in me
whispering comfortingly.
We're all gifted with His presence.
Jesus is REAL--there's no pretense
though others label it nonsense.
Jesus, Our Gift, is Salvation!
