The picture is of me at age five. **** Imagine the mindset of being born 'again' ... in a new body, as a child of Christ. **************

Again Footsteps, weak and wobbly, belie my age; once young--now over-ripe--rickety, sage. The heart, independent, innocently bays: "Lord, I want to be like a child ... again. Play all day long, laugh and dance in each breeze, shimmy up the trees ... again, again, again. Reborn ... I am. I stand to live, love, anew ... like a child ... again." I catch my breath in tiny little gasps. "Do you love ME?" "I served You till the last!" My spirit--loosed--does whatever He asks: "Lord, I want to be like a child ... again. Climb up in my Daddy's lap ... he'll soothe me. I'll slumber quietly ... again, again, again. That is how life begins ... in a new body ... like a child ... again." The spark of life dwells within ev'ry man. Its' flames quiver when righteousness grows thin waxes the wick--hatred--damnation, sin. "Lord, I want to be like a child ... again. Miss the simple times of pleasant, little things ... legs pumping, I swing ... again, again, again. Luckily, though I'm human, I have found You! Live ... like a child ... again. I have found You!
