Illustrated poetry (my art/poem) concerning the nature of the earth, why it exists. **************

Gifted Ribbons of mountains, curlicues--pristine snow, ring valleys gift wrapped, present packaged ... glows. The tag reads: To Man From: Father, God. Will love, good intent, a place to dwell, trod. Scotch tapes dips, ripples, tears splash in dry beds, His palm the cradle when men lay their heads. Unwrapped over ages, trashed time after time, devoured the package created divine. Time is approaching ... the Giver will peek at that gift, package, both battered and weak. Mined are the mountains, curlicues mud and woe, flooded valleys naked ... we have stripped Earths' glow. What man sows, he'll reap as chaos showers. Some will run screaming but, behold flowers gifted. Peaks of mountains curlicues ... pristine snow ... untouched by evil ne'er succomb but glow. copyright 2009 Sandra S. Corona

Beautiful description Also reminding us of a world we're destroying, but I love the last line, where the snow white mountains aren't touched...yet.
