Large Star

A large star sits
somewhere out on the edge,
it borders on nothingness
then substance again.

It dies.
But it takes eight long minutes
for even one of us
to see.

Life vanishes with it,
it was all just a dream.

There are multitudes of these "vanishing" scenarios in Nature...
