just a dream i had once...

Blowing out my brains
to control my own unmaking,
just another bleeding hole,
nothing's wrong
you're all I wanted,
but too late now,
I'm growing cold.
Because just to taste
what love could make,
maybe I could have been whole,
just one sweet moment
before it's all over,
becomes a pleasure
I will never know.
And I'm dying
with you on my mind,
the rest just thrown against the wall,
as inertia rolls
and throws me over,
and all that's left is just the fall.

This poem is intense. The first line definatly threw me off guard--a slang expression of such violence is a rare start to poem. Powerful--good one Jason!

Rather poignant and sad, but interesting read nonetheless.
