Singing Peaceniks

Singing Peaceniks

 

Authenticity forcing dark

            stars from orbit

Forming adjacent specters

            of holy light

Transparent rumors offer

            adjunct lines against the will.

 

Far below monsters behind

            battered shutters growl

Warring factions of the gospel

            invite heathens to listen

To flamboyant peaceniks

            who sing with a voice.

Over the years the "Singing Peaceniks" have made some great music and it never hurts to hear the "other sides" of a story.
