Fulfilled Pleasure

Dragging her ass across the desert

Was all she could do to save his soul

A Bible in her bag, a prayer in her heart

And a gallows glaring from on high.

She had known him as a horse thief

She simply offered him her love

He took what she had to give him

Leaving before the crack of dawn.

Yesterday's stage brought the news

A dead sheriff and a short rope

And an empty room above the store

Cleared out at the decent of midnight

She hated him for what he did

Loving him for who he thought he was

The soul center of her loins quaked

Her smile remembered how he felt

Praying hard she reached the judge

Proposed a deal to save a soul

The judge agreed and signed the note

Displeased hangman cut down the rope

The judge he was a little bitty man

Left her without her wanted pleasure

But the horse thief went scot-free

Not knowing of her gracious mercy.

She did that for her man? A true story?

What a woman will do for a man who pleased her so much that she did this for him. Fab-u-lous!

Love ya!

Nope it's not pulpit fiction but the gallows curse! Some women will save a man, and some won't...some will just hang him I know some who did! Randolph Scott would have been riding up the trail on his horse into town to save the woman from herself. This is good, Dayvid...a Menno western with a bible without a kickback!
