I sit here amidst a throng of associates,
All alone.

Writhing and writing what I find
to be self evident,
But there seems to be no evidence at all.

I am truly alone,
For as I catwalk this twine of time,
More and more fall behind
Due to this "past."

As I look to these Venusian stars,
It seems all but I have succumbed
To Mars and these earthen moments.

Chains may be broken,
Locks picked,
But only the most stalwart of men can evade
The Past.

While the pessimists see it as it was,
The optimists as it is;
My mind is bombarded only how it will be.

For What If?
What if this earthquake
This scar upon the first breath of the heart,
Were to be as permanent as these strangers find it to be.

If no man knew the way,
If no man failed to succumb to these "laws" of steel,
If no man blazed the stairs to euphoria...
...herself;

Then what child would know how to dream?
For the fool is not one that falsely dreams,
But dreams, and believes he is the first.

Well I am a great fool.
I am a jester that will reform the womb of sweet Mother Earth.
For a king of diamonds is lovely,
One of hearts much better,
But few know the life of a jester
