The laugh's on me.

I laugh at the image in the mirror.
My eyes, the brown one twice the size

of the olive, aligned on the same side
of my face, the planes of my sharply

defined nose point both east and west,
my lips undeniably agreeable, my

ears the shape of pink figure eights,
the crest of my angular head concealed

in a purple sock. I detect this Spanish
attitude about me. Half of me is naked,

the other half adorned in a costume
of multicolored diamonds. I am

an abstraction on tiptoes, hanging
in the Boardwalk Art Museum and

Baccarat Suite, titled Bowlegged
Dancer with Mandolin. I can be seen

from several points of view. You can
pick me up at auction for a trifle.
