Had Spenser known you
as I have known you
would he not have praised
your heavenly guifts
so fayre a creature adornd
with beautyes grace and ventures store
goodly eyes lyke saphyres shining bright?
Had but Shakespeare
seen you then as I see you now
would he not have spake
through his magic quill,
to me fair friend
you never can be old
for as you were when first
your eye I met
such seems your beauty still?
And would not Shelley
have concluded, as do I,
so now my summer is ended
and I return to thee
mine own heart’s home?
Need I speak in my awkward words
in the September of my years
to the April of my memories
of the warm spring laughter
that stings my seasoned heart
with such happiness
that lost years seem but an interlude?
Cheers to the writer of A love letter, a most distinct poem
indeed
Cheers

you are a romantic poet
your words like a beautiful bloom opening to reveal the sensual tenderness of your heart

such sentiments of flowered breath and trembling moments.. .. on a personal note, id prolly be more likely written by the female shelley. ...as a frankenstein.ian. ....or id catch the eye of poe? but n'ere a frost or a lord or a browning. ...
to be in your eye, your heart, as well as your pen, must be the erath's end.

You write so well the words dance a lyrical ballet that sweeps us to another dimension...like Shakespeare holding my hand and reading me this poem...so romantic!!! Wow!
