Poem Artwork

Thin, absorbent paper, usually in rolls, used to clean oneself after defecation or urination. Also called toilet tissue.

~~Toilet Paper~~

Humanity is so evolved
We've sanitized so well
Our dignity at time revolves
Upon our lack of smell

In ancient days, a smell was praised
As signature of scent
Around the camp, was odor raised
With turd as marked intent

Leanest texture of the tree
Milled to sectioned squares
One ply, two, or maybe three
Pillowed on the tear

Overflowing, bountiful,
Absorbant, thick and pliant
Stands the humble toilet paper
Handy and reliant

A

Don't Forget To Flush!

Yes for those of you who were wondering and noticed the baby in the picture...yes I humbly admit that was me back in the 1950's, I WAS a toilet paper spokes person, before I could speak, and since then I have been a proud customer!  No autographs Please! Muuhaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaa
