I'M CROSS EYED, I DROOL AND ROCK ON MY ASS

I've the grandest void! A bottomless pit!
Famished and wanting.....begging for it!!
Needy and greedy....ENOUGH is enough
I yam what I yam.....no pretense or bluff

I've an itch, I've reddened into a rash
I'm cross eyed, I droll, and rock on my ass
I mumble....I mutter.....and stare into space
There's a file "THIS BIG"....that traces my case

kidding

Medications are useless.....drugs are a waste
Brain decomposed to liquidy paste
Dripping from nostrils....leaking from ears
Tear ducts and mouth, but mostly my rear!!!!!

I've emptied my essence, alas I'm a husk
Defective teabag.....dust bunny......dust!
Recycled reject.....carted to sea
Dumped in the depths....salty and free

Ooops!

Chit its cold, time to wake up
Break thru the surface, cold shakes me up
Swim with the dolphins, menace the sharks
Wonder what happanded to Noah's old arc

Float on my tummy, float on my back
Guzzle salt water.......clams for a snack
Rockabye wave as evil nurse maid
Currents that spiral, and whip in parade

sEA SicK

What did I do? Why am I here?
How long has it been.....a moment....a year??
What pushed me over......over the edge
Must have been heavy.....to crumble that ledge!

That voice says I'm crazy...I say I'm NUTZZ
Time to mop up the BS and cut
Out of this nightmare and into the real

Shit!!!

That's how PMS makes me feel!!!

Nope... can't say I recognise anything here: except my face in the glass and the fumes rising out of it!! Bleurgh!! Just realisin how emotionally shut down I have been all of my life, now the getting in touch and emotional detoxin, together with the effects of a medically induced, long and drawn-out premature peri-menopause and the over-stimulation of academic mind-games at advanced old age... well, why don't someone just wrap me in a metal casing and shoot me down over some well-deserving enemy somewhere?! A me-meltdown would pretty soon bring the world to some sort of sticky and abrupt Armageddon, I'm sure!! This is just so graphic and witty: pure classy and sassy dragon's breath at its most potent and stinkin.. not the poetry, I hasten to add! I'm breathin your air today, Lady Antacid! LOL Kate xx

Anita,

Truly, men have no idea of all the different things that women struggle with. Thank You for giving us a glimpse.

I think that men have a challenge to attempt to understand
the inner complexities and needs of women.

Hopefully, if we love you (even when you don't seem to be lovable),
we will find Love in return.

Love & Light,
Joseph

Hi There Sweet Potato (I yam what I yam)
When I saw the title on the front page I though "ooh, a fellow stroke survivor" ;-)
I found this amusing and as a long married person I could relate to its truth.
Good one!

It does turn us into someone we don't even begin to recognise are ourselves, doesn't it? I am glad I don't have to deal with that anymore..but understand that PMS is just boot camp for menopause...the craziest is YET to come!! Menopause is PMS 24/7. Gawd do I love being a girl!!! ;) Really exceptional write.
Take care,
Sherry
