Inspiration comes from many sources, and many times feeds upon itself. The following was written after a conversation....into a poetic form. The poem, then inspired the drawing.......

NAKED BLISS UPON THE FLIGHT
Thin and pure as moutain air In the mists a balanced pair Baptized by a rising wind Cleanse the mind, caress the skin
Crystal air upon the tongue Wind, and mist as duet sung Coursing blindly on the heights Naked bliss upon the flight
Merged with nature, soul on soul In the brilliance glowing whole Flowing arms and winded hair Visions ancient as a prayer
Washed by mists and warmed by sun By the winds of rapture's run Lifted gently in the air In the mists....a balanced pair

By the winds of rapture's run
Lifted gently in the air
In the mists....a balanced pair <----Such a delight to read, yet work has gone into these thoughts..

The feeling one gets when standing on the peak of Scheilhallion at the edge of Rannoch Moor, and also overlook Loch Rannoch. Romantic splendour!
It's not a question of 'you take the high road, and I'll take the low road,' but rather, through the ethereal feel to this poem, we as readers have been taken aloft to a higher road still - one surfaced with tingling sensation. With the art work,Anita, you have taken an otherwise half empty glass, complemented this with deliciously sensuous imagery, and presented us with a full glass, brimming with choice wine. This is not poetry for reading but for drinking in order to tease the taste buds of our unsuspecting minds. Ah, 'Naked bliss...' indeed.
